I was asked aboard a project that saw the launch of the company's first publicly available application. As part of a small team, I gave design consideration for User Interface and User Experience. I created assets such as iconography and overall design.
Take a gander at the project summary below. Download links are available as well!
Operator Calculator, or OpCalc, is an application that was originally coded by Craig McEwen, an engineer at Browns Hill Engineering & Controls LLC.
The primary goal for me on this project was to augment the existing user experience by providing a polished user interface design. I worked in tandem with Will Rooney, a coder, to bring this app into existence. We worked to create both Android and iOS versions of the app.
This app is intended for field operators working on water and waste water systems. The calculations found in the app are geared towards creation and maintenance of these systems and plants. OpCalc is used by Browns Hill Engineering as company promotion.

After some time thinking about both the user interface and user experience, I built UI comps to communicate the potential of the application. It was agreed that the app as it stood was mostly solid. So in order to elevate the existing experience, I created a UI redesign with original iconography.
